THE DRIFTING CIRCUS, a sailing troup of troubadours and acrobats.

Coming from all around the world. We are all backpackers, hitch-hikers, bohemians and vagabonds in a quest of personnal and social accomplishment and/or discovering our beautiful planet. Highly participating into the blooming of alternative movements and communities, we are all being part of this world-wide tribe sharing the same values and lifestyles, only speaking different languages. Along the way, acquiring the knowledge of the wanderer and the street, we learn how to sustain ourselves and get along our journey with our art. Bringing all of these various talents on the same boat, we started putting up shows and The Drifting Circus project. We are a troup of musicians, acrobats, clowns, jugglers, actors, poets, magicians, crafters and at every anchorage we stop, every land we touch; we bring our little acts and shows to share our passion, express and inspire. This project is not simply focused on offering performances, but on  creating a space for imagination to be free and for smiles to let be.

A lot of places we visited, in the remote islands of the Pacific, would assist to this kind of entertainment, and just even be in contact with a kind of people with such different lifestyle for the first time of their life. Kids would come towards us with big smiles and shiny eyes, and grown-ups would come thank us and invite us over for dinner. It is a mutual fullfilling experience to learn and share cultures. This is why we believe art is one of the best gift we can carry around the world

We always offer free shows in the streets and public places, because sharing art is part of our vision on public access, giving space for spreading individual knowledge and skills, inspire through expression. These shows are based on donations where at the end of the display, we pass a Magic Hat where people if they desire can give money, food, gifts or kisses, to help us sustain our expenses.

Coming soon: Videos of our shows and Recordings of our music.
